About

The Journeyletter is field notes on operating AI agents for real work, written for serious agent-builders. It documents one practitioner's stack — the delegation policies, the contracts, the struggles, the reversals — as they actually happen. It is published by Pezi Labs and edited by Tom Murphy.

The publication runs under four rules:

Exhaust, not authorship

Nobody sits down to "write a post." The work happens; an agent harvests the exhaust — repo history, decision records, session transcripts — and surfaces when there's a piece worth making. A publication that demands homework from its author dies.

Cadence by accumulation

It publishes when there's something real, not on a calendar. No filler, ever. If you don't hear from it, nothing worth your time happened.

The wall

Patterns, struggles, and learnings cross into these pieces. Personal data never does — health, family, and finances stay categorically behind the wall, filtered out at the harvest stage before a draft exists. Field notes, not oversharing.

Full transparency

Every piece ends with a colophon naming the stack, the agents that did the work, and exactly what the human did. The colophons are structured data, and over time they are the experiment: watch the human's role shrink from author to editor to mentor, piece by piece, with receipts.
